My name is Mathew. I’m a single Christian guy in my late thirties. I am the eldest of three brothers. My father was also the eldest of three brothers. I live in the Southwestern part of the United States.
I’ve spent most of my adult life raising and taking care of my teenage nephew and being a caregiver to the elderly and ailing in my family. Because of that, I’ve never really had an opportunity to do much of anything else in life.
I am a thinker and a hardcore introvert. Much of my time is spent pondering the challenges and experiences I have had, building my relationship with God, examining life and society as a whole and, writing about the things I have learned and the conclusions I have drawn from all of that. I sometimes give advice and council to people who find themselves in challenging situations, more often than not, in the area of romantic relationships and marriage. I suppose that might seem odd since I have, thus far in life, remained a bachelor and been perpetually single.
Writing is one of the things I do best. I knew I wanted to be a writer starting in the sixth grade. I have been writing ever since. The main aspect of my life that’s worthy of writing about is my relationship with God and the testimony I have surrounding it. I currently have a number of books that I am working on but, if I only ever complete and publish one of them I want it to be the book that is about my relationship with God and the amazing things that have been birthed in my life because of it. My primary purpose for creating this blog is to tell others about that relationship and to share some of the wisdom, knowledge and, insight that it has blessed me with. I hope that I am successful in doing so.
